Creative-Works Senior Resource Centre is designed as a social network that promotes
peer-to-peer learning and engagement, connecting older adults in-person and virtually,
enhancing their communication skills and promoting volunteerism. Generally, our older adult population are told what they need and programs are developed for them, however, we
believe that it is important that they play a major role in deciding what is best for them, then help them manifest it.

Past Programs
Virtual Connections for Older Adults
Started during the pandemic our "Read-to-Me" program bridged the gap between Seniors and Youth by allowing them to engage in sharing experiences and stories from each era. It promoted intergenerational mentoring and created social connections that are essential for healthy ageing and well-being.
Creative Works Workshop Series
This workshop series created awareness around topics that were important to seniors while engaging the expertise of Seniors who worked previously in a certain field. It also fostered creativity by engaging seniors in sharing their favourite dish and how to prepare it.
